Leading into 2020 here in Bilinga, we’ve had a wonderful summer, but other areas of the Gold Coast – and around the country – have not been so lucky. We want to make this year our year to give back to our environment and our wildlife which have suffered so much.
The Currumbin Wildlife Hospital is an incredible local facility which treats 12,000 animals per year, and in recent times has been inundated with animals and wildlife injured in the bushfires. Patient admissions are soaring, particularly from our beloved koala population.
The Hospital treats, rehabilitates and releases these animals back into the wild, and as numbers grow, the costs are soaring.
We want to help this local organisation in any way we can, which is why La Costa Motel will be donating 50% of the proceeds from all photo shoots held at the motel this year to Currumbin Wildlife Hospital.
